Information on Assisted Solution

Information on Assisted Solutions

When the student seeks solution to a question, we study the question and identify the concepts involved in it. Then we write alternative questions which also have the same concepts and provide step by step solution. Once the student sees and studies the provided examples  and the answers, then he or she is in a position to solve the original question asked. Advantages of this method are many including;

  • The student revises the concepts learned at school in various examples.
  • It provides the student better understanding of the rules, definitions and their applications.
  • The student then applies this understanding and the methods used to solve the examples provided with this service to solve the question he or she asked.
  • Increases students' confidence in their ability to perform in their exams.
  • Avoids student spending far too much time on one question and jeopardising their performance in other subjects.
  • Students have one to one, cost effective, and nonbinding online tutoring.

The assisted solutions are given in hand written format in order to minimize the cost. However, type written format is available at an extra cost.

Assisted solutions are divided into three categories, namely knowledge, skill and application.

Knowledge questions use the concepts learned in the topic such as chain rule in differentiation, quadratic formula in algebra etcetera.

Skill questions require more than one concept to solve. For example the question might involve change of variables then factorization.

Application questions are the worded questions in which the students must analyse the question in order to decide which techniques he or she has to use in order to solve it. These questions are complex in nature, however give a good understanding how the math concepts can be used in real life situations.

Please check the "Examples of Assisted Question" on the menu to see examples. These examples are free and will provide students extra resources in their study.

If you need further clarifications please first check FAQ on the menu, since the page might provide you with the answer. If it doesn't please use Contact Us on the menu to email your question which will be answered as soon as possible.
